Kevin worked for a number of years as a salesman at Balkan Beverage out of Lancaster, until a couple of years ago, and his fellow sales team would like to extend our sincerest condolences to his family concerning the sudden loss of Kevin.
Kevin, or KB as we referred to him, was never one to get involved in the day to day practical joking of a high strung sales crew, but in all honesty, Kevin was probably the most liked AND likable guy in the room. He helped train a number of us still with the company, and though he preferred to stay on the quiet and private side of things, you could tell he enjoyed the company of a rambunctious bunch at weekly meetings; because one thing Ill always recall about Kevin is how he would laugh at anything and everything comical that you told him or joked about, even if it wasn't all that funny. Whether he was just being kind or had a well developed sense of humor, we might never know, but he definitely made you feel like you could tell a good joke!
Due to his personality, his likability, and his good nature, many of us at Balkan Beverage felt compelled to help Kevin and his family in whatever way we could following the tragic news of the fire at his residence a few years past. I sat in those meetings where the circumstances surrounding that tragedy were discussed, I saw the heartfelt concerns of presidents and vice presidents at the company, and an out pouring of emotion that made helping Kevin the first choice, the obvious choice, the only choice. That's not a testament to any of us, but rather a testament to Kevin. An all around great guy that we often wished was a little less private perhaps, but altogether, that's what helped leave that soft spot in our hearts for him.
He will be missed, always remembered, never forgotten. I hope you find a measurable solace in our account of Kevin over the several years we knew him. Be well and allow time to yield and demonstrate any positive results of his untimely passing. Out of every difficult situation, there are benefits to seek and secure.
