Barbara Ann Truesdale

Barbara Ann Truesdale was born June 4th, 1943 to Parents John and Elnora Bailey in Coalwood, West Virginia. At the age of 78, Barbara departed this life on January 18th, 2022.

The family moved to Buffalo, New York when Barbara was 9 years old. She graduated from Fosdick-Masten High School. She was later employed at M. Wile , A company most noted for making suits for Johnny Carson.

Barbara enjoyed sewing and creating various fashions. She was married but divorced and had two great sons., Kevin and Henry. She enjoyed playing Bid Wiz with her siblings and friends. Dancing was one of her favorite hobbies. Barbara was a line dancing instructor at the Richmond Senior Center. She truly enjoyed spending a lot of time there and considered everyone there as family.

Barbara was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a member of the Nurses Guild and she served as the Church Clerk . She often volunteered to assist with the Buffalo Mayoral campaigns and voting registrations. She was always active in her community.
