Dr. Alene L. Barnes Obituary

Dr. Alene L. Barnes, world traveler and community activist, passed away on August 4,2020. She recently retired from Kent State University as a professor in Pan-African Studies. She will be laid to rest on Saturday August 15, 2020 at ridge Lawn cemetery at 10am. Calling hours will be held on Friday August 14, 2020 at TL Pickens Funeral Home from 4-7pm. Her beautiful smile and loving spirit will be missed.
