Obituary

Duretta Michelle Howard was born in Buffalo, NY On March 3rd, 1961, to the late Delores Lillard and the late Douglas Pierce.

Duretta Howard was a woman of scripture who could recite the Bible and had a scripture for whatever you were going through. The love Duretta had for The Most High was special.

Duretta attended Grover Cleveland High School. Shortly after she spent many years as a Home Health Aid. She took pride in her work. Duretta recently picked up a passion for Door Dash and that kept her happy and busy.

Duretta’ s main motivation in life was being a mom and Grandmother. Giving advice and guidance and spending time with her family. Duretta had such a big heart and would do the world for anyone who needed her help.

Duretta loved reading her Bible, playing spades on her phone, and listening to Gospel music. Yolanda Adams was one of her favorite Gospel artists. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren meant everything to her. Her granddaughter Daniyla kept her on her toes and laughing. Duretta loved having a little one around the house to cuddle and watch movies with,

Duretta opened her home to anyone and everyone. She treated everyone like family and loved our friends like her own. Duretta made sure everyone was happy. She was courageous and had a forgiving soul.

Duretta enjoyed watching her family grow and encouraged us to enjoy time spent with one another.

Duretta leaves to cherish some of the best memories to her Children.
