Jacqueline S Ruffin Obituary

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Jacqueline Ruffin. A woman whose voice, spirit, and presence left a lasting impact on her family, friends, and the world of music. Jackie was known not only for her loving heart but also in her place in music history as one of the original Colored Girls; the powerful background vocalists who helped define the sound behind the legendary Rick James and the iconic Stone City Band. She was survived by 8 children, 19 grandchildren, and 4 great -grandchildren and Levi Ruffin.     Thank you.

                                                                                                                                            Aisha Atkins
