James Vernon Lane

            James Vernon Lane was born January 22, 1942 in St. Catharines, Ontario Canada. He and was raised in Niagara Falls and in  Buffalo, NY. He later moved to Washington, DC  where he lived for many years. That's also where  he met and married Cynthia Moore-Lane. He is predeceased by his mother Alice June Harris, sisters; Francine, Maxine, and Iona . He was survived by his sisters; Valerie, June, Marlene , brothers; Yarbrough and Chester. Four children; Bianca, Malcolm, Julien and 7 grandchildren. James (Jim) was a US Army veteran. He loved basketball, swimming, bowling, and shooting pool. A memorial service will be held in Buffalo at a later date TBD.
