Kevin A. Garrett Obituary

Kevin A. Garrett was born May 5, 1957 in Buffalo, New York becoming the only child of mother Hazel Evans and late father Howard Garrett. He departed life suddenly after two months of hospitalized treatments for Leukemia at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, in Buffalo, New York.

Kevin attended Buffalo Public School system, one of which was East High School where he made life long friends. Kevin made many friends along the way as he served as a cab driver for local cab companies Fillmore and Coldspring. He also worked as a cook at various restaurants. Kevin enjoyed playing and watching sports and was a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan. He also loved cooking, eating and socializing with family and friends. Kevin loved many and was loved by many.

Kevin’s life continues on through his loving Mother Hazel Szpila (Ben), Sister Nicole Szpila-Reid (Tino), His children LaTanya Garrett, Marquita Dixon, Tamisha Palmer, Kevin Garrett, Letitia Velez (Oscar), Shawntay Robinson (Troy), Dinah Howard (Michael), Terrance Garrett (Vanessa), and a host of grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Repast will be held at Cheektowaga Town Park Shelter#7 at 2:00 after service.
