As the sun rose on October 8, 1954, God blessed to William and Eliza a baby girl. William and Eliza named the baby girl Loretta Young. But, in the year of 1959 before the sun went down, God called Eliza home to Glory. God blessed Loretta to be raised by her father William and grandmother Rachel Young until the God called Rachel home to Glory. God blessed Loretta again with Esther W. Curtis. William and Esther raised Loretta in a Christian home. Loretta gave her life to the Lord at a young age and praised him with song until the day the Lord called her home to Glory. But, as family and friends reflect on the life of Loretta, we can all say her siblings played a pivotal role in her upbringing and she was the joy of their lives. Her many friends and family can attest to Loretta was a loving mother, wife and a person who didn’t hold her tongue. But, she gave love to all and will forever live in our memories
